Discord uses two banner sizes. A profile banner is at least 680 × 240 pixels. A server banner should be at least 960 × 540 pixels, at 16:9. Pick one, then drag and zoom the photo. On a profile banner, the circle marked Avatar is the lower-left area your profile picture usually covers, so keep titles and logos out of it. Download JPG or PNG. Processing stays in your browser.

How to Use?

Upload a JPG, PNG, WebP, or GIF.
Choose Profile banner (680 × 240) or Server banner (960 × 540).
Choose Fill to cover the frame, or Fit to show the whole photo on a background color.
Drag the photo and move Zoom until the subject sits where you want it.
On a profile banner, keep text out of the Avatar circle. Click Create, then download JPG or PNG.

Notes:

Profile banners need Discord Nitro. Discord’s custom profile help asks for PNG, JPG, or GIF under 10 MB, with a minimum of 680 × 240. Older guides say 600 × 240. This tool exports 680 × 240, which meets the current minimum.
Avatar marks the lower-left of a profile banner, where Discord says your profile picture covers part of the image. Discord does not publish an exact box for that overlap. The circle is a preview only and is not saved in the file.
A server banner has no avatar circle. Discord recommends at least 960 × 540 pixels at 16:9, and can resize a larger 16:9 image. This tool exports that recommended size.
The JPG download is reduced automatically if it would be over 10 MB. Use JPG for photos and PNG when you need a flat background.
Work stays on your device. A small source image is enlarged and can look soft. GIF uses the first frame, so the download is a still image, not an animated banner.
