About this tool
The Water Reflection Generator builds a second band under your picture that looks like a calm surface mirroring the scene. It flips the lower portion of your image, softens it, adds gentle horizontal ripples, and blends a light water tint so the result reads as reflection rather than a hard copy.
Sliders control how tall the reflection is, how strong it appears, how much blur softens detail, and how pronounced the ripple displacement is. Use a shorter reflection for a subtle footer effect, or a taller one for dramatic posters and social headers.
Like other ROCKIMG canvas tools, your file is not uploaded to our servers: decoding and drawing happen locally, so previews update quickly and your privacy stays intact.
How to Use?
- Drag an image onto the upload area or click to choose a file.
- Your photo appears in the workshop preview.
- Adjust reflection height, strength, blur, and ripples—the result updates automatically.
- Check the result panel for the combined image.
- Click Download to save a PNG.
- Supported inputs include common raster formats your browser can decode (such as JPG, PNG, and WebP).
- Very large images are scaled down slightly before processing so the page stays responsive.
- Refreshing the page clears the session—download first if you need to keep the file.
Notes:
- Output is always PNG to preserve quality after effects.
- Ripples use a horizontal sine displacement; extreme values can show slight edge softness.
- For best “water” readability, photos with a clear horizon or subject above open sky or water often look most natural.
