This thermal filter remaps your photo’s brightness into classic heat-camera palettes like Ironbow, Hot Metal, and Arctic. Brighter areas read as “hotter,” darker areas as “cooler.” Everything runs in your browser—your images are never uploaded.

How to Use?

  • Upload a photo or drag and drop it into the box
  • Choose a heat palette (Ironbow, Hot Metal, Arctic, Rainbow, White Hot, or Black Hot)
  • Adjust contrast and softness to shape the heat look
  • Click “Apply Thermal Filter” to render the result
  • Download your thermal image as a PNG

Notes:

  • This is a stylistic false-color effect, not a real infrared or temperature measurement.
  • High-contrast photos usually produce clearer “hot” and “cold” regions.
  • Increase softness for a blurrier, more camera-like thermal look.
  • Very large images are resized for smoother processing in the browser.
  • Your photos stay on your device—nothing is sent to a server.
